A couple miles up the road we have the pleasure of driving by an alpaca farm on our way to town. They are SO cute! People are often there taking pictures or just standing Continue reading

My husband snapped this photo this morning to show how tall the hollyhocks have gotten. I am 5'10"- the hollyhocks are over 6'. I didn't know there were any that grew that tall! They are waning now (and I haven't been keeping up with the deadheading) but we're still enjoying them.
My husband also told me that he thought I looked pretty cute – for an old lady… Honesty – 100%. Tact 0%.

There is a lovely park in Pinedale, Wyoming – a great place to stop for a picnic or just to walk through the area. One thing that makes it special is the stream running through it with lots of trees and shrubs. We got quite a surprise when we came around a corner along that stream! Momma and baby moose. Such a treat! We backed away very quietly and carefully, but not before I got some cool photos.

We’re hanging on tight to every minute we have with the little hummers. We’ve probably gotten up to 35-40 now and they really come out to play toward dusk. They like to perch on the hollyhocks or a thorny little tree in the back yard. I don’t know what they like that mean one, but they do. They’ll probably Continue reading

Snake River & the Tetons – one of the most beautiful and highly photographed areas of the Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park areas. (As you can probably tell I felt stupid posing in front of my trusty tripod & timer with a bazillion people around.) You can enjoy everything from Continue reading
