Snake River & the Tetons – one of the most beautiful and highly photographed areas of the Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park areas. (As you can probably tell I felt stupid posing in front of my trusty tripod & timer with a bazillion people around.) You can enjoy everything from scenic floats, whitewater kayaking/rafting, or near Wilson Beach, take a dip in the (cold) river. Wildlife is abundant, so always have a camera ready. Oh, and don’t forget the fishing. (A fishing license is mandatory.)
Since I am not on friendly terms with water and I’m no fisherperson, I keep my camera handy. I do love photography and the delightful mountain streams. The legendary fine art photographer, Ansel Adams, (1902-1984) made the area famous with his amazing black and white prints, one of which hangs in many homes, mine included.
